Stephen Davis

Stephen Davis serves as a field investigator for IMG and is an accomplished investigative and security specialist with over thirty years experience. 

Prior to working with IMG, Mr. Davis was Managing Director of Investigations for the Fairfax Group, Ltd., an international investigative and security consulting firm, which ultimately merged with SPX.  Mr. Davis remained in his position with SPX from 1997 until 2001.

During his twenty-one years in the New York City Police Department, Mr. Davis held various investigative and supervisory positions.   He was promoted to the rank of Captain in 1989 served as a Police Department spokesperson and press liaison until his retirement in 1992.  In this position, he was responsible for the daily interactions with the print and broadcast media, both local and national.  Among his duties included providing briefings to the Mayor and Police Commissioner at the scenes of major police incidents.   

As a Lieutenant, Mr. Davis was assigned as the Operations Coordinator for a midtown Manhattan precinct in 1985, and oversaw the training, deployment and supervision of a patrol force of one-hundred fifty officers.  The following year, he was selected to attend the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia where he received specialized training in law-enforcement case management and counter-terrorism.

While serving as a Sergeant for the area of upper Manhattan, Mr. Davis was a supervisor of an Anti-Crime team and a Special Narcotics Enforcement Unit.
